  About Us

We did it!  After years of limiting our biking adventures to our allotted vacation time, we decided to drop out of our over-stressed lives for an extended journey.  We sold our house.  We quit our jobs.  With a mixture of blessings and bewilderment from our friends and family, we attached a trailer to our tandem bike and set out to see North America.

Our excursion took us from the Arctic Circle in Alaska to Key West, FL (7,100 miles later).  Our planned trip began on May 20, 2004 and was completed on October 31, 2004.
